Waaaaaay back when it was still March 2024, the Ramsey MediaWorks gang fired up the company station wagon and traveled to Louisville, Kentucky for the 2024 Mid-America Trucking Show, affectionately known as MATS.
For three days, we participated in the events, exhibitions, and excitement of this once-a-year celebration of all things trucking. Our team had a great time, but instead of hearing about their experience second-hand, we got the team itself to share some thoughts on how it all went down.

MATS is more than just a gathering. It’s a celebration – four exhibition halls and two parking lots showcasing the latest innovations, equipment, and services that drive our economy forward. Whether it was the vendors touting their products, manufacturers showcasing cutting-edge technology, or attendees simply reveling in their love for trucks, a real passion permeated my every interaction. I left with a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm, eager to continue my journey in the world of trucking.

Instead of sitting in on the usual MATS sessions, I spent my time making rounds and inviting our clients to take a survey for us. I enjoyed the opportunity to have dinner with friends and colleagues in the trucking world. This year was particularly nice because many of our clients brought team members who were experiencing MATS for the first time.
