Job Description
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will work directly in the Google Search Ad Network.
You will be responsible for creating and managing paid ad campaigns on the world’s most
popular search engine. The Digital Marketing Specialist is expected to have a base
knowledge of traditional and ”new age” marketing practices. The ideal candidate will
create compelling, conversion-driven search ads, with an ongoing curiosity on how to
optimize existing campaigns for optimal performance. This candidate will also be willing
to adapt to the ongoing, dynamic digital marketing landscape and, above all, be a team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup new Google Ads campaigns on-time and with accuracy.
- Using data, improve our existing Google Ads campaigns to provide maximum ROI.
- You may have experience inside of Facebook Ads, Bing, Programmatic Exchanges, etc.
- Drive leads and consistently optimize conversions for our clients
- Develop extensive, effective keyword lists and implement keyword strategies to drive leads
- Provide in-depth analysis of results and ongoing optimizations
- Perform weekly audits of your accounts
- Generate weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly performance reports
- Apply and monitor split testing for ad copies as well as keyword implementation
- Maintain a well-versed understanding of industry trends and research industry-related media
- Time management of digital marketing project budgets

Front End/Back End Developer

The Work
- Conversion-focused landing pages for advertising campaigns.
Our clients trust us to maximize the value of their advertising budgets which means we do everything
in our power to build high-performance landing pages that convert prospects into leads.
This includes updating and managing RMW’s database driven landing page system, keeping hard-coded
content up-to-date, A/B testing and tweaking page layouts, designing for conversion, and troubleshooting
when something in the process isn’t performing to the high standard we expect.
- Full corporate website builds. We design and build everything from the look and feel to the
content structure and user experience. Our clients include local non-profits, regional and
national manufacturers, and national trucking companies.
Other daily job duties will include:
- Perform website structure, image, & copy updates
- Update & Manage RMW’s database-driven landing page system
- Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, properly structured, and meets industry standards
- Test sites and applications in different browsers and environments
- Problem solve & fix bugs in existing projects
- Document code so other developers can understand and contribute to it
The Skills You’ll Need
- A solid understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design
- Experience with Javascript/JQuery
- Experience with PHP
- Experience with Git and GitHub
- Experience with Node.js
- Familiar with integrating REST-based APIs
If you don’t already have the experience, you’ll need to learn how to set up website analytics and
tracking systems.
You won’t need to be an expert in Adobe Creative Suite, but you should at least know how to open
files and retrieve the pieces that you need.
Additional skills that will set you apart from other candidates:
- Experience with Grid/Flexbox + browser support & fallbacks
- Experience with SASS/LESS & other CSS preprocessors
- Experience with SQL databases
- Familiar with cURL

Responsibilities
Client Interaction & Planning
- Strategically contributing to the monthly planning & analysis of assigned clients’ media portfolios.
- Working closely in coordination with sales representatives to aid in client communication and needs.
- Have a thorough understanding of each client’s specific operation standards and offerings and be able to strategically bring solutions to the table for the betterment of the client.
- With a thorough knowledge of client operation standards and offerings, be able to bring relevant research and suggestions to the table to obtain specific KPIs inside of a metrics-based advertising model.
Vendor & Client Relations
- Responsible for working and keeping positive relationships with a plethora of external media vendors (Digital, Publication, Aggregate, Social, Job Board).
- Works fluidly with internal Digital Media Specialists to make sure clients’ needs are being met.
- Works with Account Representatives and Sales Representatives on client accounts. Communicate via phone/email/teleconferencing and sometimes travel to client HQ’s.
- Understand clients business model and needs and provide analytically driven solutions to their problems.
- Represents Ramsey MediaWorks in a professional and positive manner. Placement Execution, Analysis & Billing
- Accurately place Insertion Orders based on approved client budgets.
- Work inside of a project management software to keep track of approved budget media channels, insertion orders and billing.
- Monitor performance through clients’ ATS (Applicant Tracking System), Google Analytics, and external/internal vendor dashboards.
- Work fluidly inside a cross-functional team of creative services and digital services.
- Already understand or have the ability to learn entry-level coding and XML/HTML for building job feeds.
- Owns and responsible for all placement billing assigned.
Requirements
- Strong writing skills and the ability to organize, plan, and prioritize projects
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel)
- Good working knowledge of the Google Suite (Gmail/Drive/Docs/Sheets)
- Working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1+ year of media buying or planning preferred, but not required
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and flourish inside of a wide suite of programs
